Reprogrammation moteur 1.6 TDI
Depuis 3 ans, trois longues années, les possesseurs du moteur 1.6 TDI se désespéraient de pouvoir l’améliorer. La réponse à leurs demandes était systématiquement négative : pas encore… le bruit finissait même par se répandre que ce ne serait jamais possible !
Et voilà que début juillet, la nouvelle tombe comme par miracle : la reprogrammation moteur du 1.6 TDI est réalisable ! Que s’est-il passé alors ? Et bien Digiservices vous l’explique…
Les “chiptuners” utilisent du matériel afin de lire et écrire le programme dans le calculateur de la voiture. Dans le cas qui nous intéresse, il est créé par un de nos fournisseurs. Ce sont eux qui mettent au point l’outil de communication entre le calculateur de la voiture et le PC du chiptuner.
Or jusqu’à présent, il permettait de lire le fichier, mais il n’était pas possible d’écrire le programme modifié dans le calculateur de la voiture, sous peine de tout bloquer et de l’empecher de démarrer.
Donc nous avons pu travailler depuis longtemps sur les programmes d’origine, afin de préparer des bases de modification, sans pouvoir en vérifier l’efficacité. Début juillet, une mise à jour du logiciel CMD a réglé le souci (après des années de recherche de leur part) afin de permettre l’écriture du programme retravaillé.
Voilà pourquoi, du jour au lendemain, la modification a été possible et rapidement commercialisable.
Comment procède-t-on pour lire et écrire dans le calculateur moteur gérant le 1.6 TDI ?
Et bien pour ne rien vous cacher, notre fournisseur a mis au point un mode d’emploi afin de tout expliquer, photos à l’appuie. De la sorte, impossible de se tromper…
La première étape consiste à enlever le calculateur moteur du véhicule, puis à l’ouvrir avec précaution.
Quelques points de soudure permettent d’établir la connection au mot de passe. C’est à ce moment là que nous pouvons supprimer le code sécurité qui bloquait tout, puis refermer le boitier comme à l’origine. Le reste se fera par la prise OBD, prise utilisée également par le constructeur lors des révisions pour brancher la valise diagnostique.
La deuxième étape est la lecture du fichier d’origine du véhicule. Une fois récupéré, nos techniciens modifient les dizaines de points qui nous intéressent afin de baisser la consommation en conduite souple et d’augmenter les performances lorsque le conducteur en a besoin.
La troisième étape n’est ni plus ni moins que l’écriture dans le calculateur du fichier modifié. Ensuite, à vous la découverte d’une nouvelle voiture avec un agrément de conduite incomparable.
La théorie c’est bien, mais regardons les résultats sur les 3 moteurs disponibles !
- 1.6 TDI 75 cv / 195 Nm (VW Polo)
- 1.6 TDI 90 cv (Seat Ibiza)
- 1.6 TDI 105 cv (VW Caddy)
Les résultats peuvent varier à cause des différences à l’admission ainsi qu’au niveau de la taille de l’echangeur…
Mais pour simplifier, la réelle grosse différence entre les 75 cv, les 90 cv et les 105 cv est une bride électronique. Ce qui fait qu’en partant de n’importe quelle base, on obtient environ 135 cv et 300/310 Nm !
