Le magazine Echappement nous a encore fait l’honneur de choisir le banc de puissance de Digiservices afin de vérifier les chiffres des voitures prêtées par les constructeurs.
Au programme de cette fin d’année, les 3 sportives de leur supertest : Renault Mégane 3 RS 265, Opel Astra OPC 280 et Ford Focus ST 250.
Leur but était de confirmer par les chiffres leur ressenti au volant. A savoir une Astra OPC bien plus puissante et coupleuse sur le papier, mais aux performances en retrait par rapport à ce postulat ! Et une Ford Focus ST aux capacités surprenantes au regard de sa faiblesse annoncée… L’écart de puissance est-il donc réel ou uniquement dans les données constructeur ?
Première à passer, la championne en titre, Mégane 3 RS, dans sa version 2012 à 265 cv.
Elle finira comme d’habitude, bien au-dessus des prévisions : 289 cv et 395 Nm !
Seconde de cordée, l’Astra OPC forte normalement de 280 cv.
La mauvaise impression se confirme, avec seulement 273 cv et 445 Nm !
Même si le modèle est faiblement kilométré, nous avons passé un autre exemplaire, avec des chiffres semblables…
Pour finir, la Ford Focus 3 ST, annoncée à 250 cv, passe au banc.
Le verdict tombe : 271 cv et 385 Nm !
Ce qui confirme l’impression du staff Echappement : un moteur rempli du début à la fin, et plus généreux qu’annoncé !
